STGD18N40LZT4 Overview
Advanced PowerMESH Technology: This IGBT incorporates advanced PowerMESH technology, which is optimized for high-performance applications, particularly in the demanding environment of automotive ignition systems.
Coil Driving Optimization: The IGBT is specifically designed to excel in driving ignition coils, ensuring efficient and reliable spark generation for combustion.
Harsh Environment Compatibility: Automotive ignition systems operate in harsh conditions, including temperature extremes, vibrations, and electrical noise. This IGBT is engineered to perform reliably under such conditions.
Low On-State Voltage: The device exhibits very low on-state voltage, which minimizes power losses and heat generation during operation, contributing to its energy efficiency.
High SCIS Energy Capability: It has a high Short Circuit Inductive Switching (SCIS) energy capability. This is crucial in ignition systems where sudden high-current events (like spark generation) can occur.
