MC33FS4500CAE Overview
The FS45 system basis chip (SBC) provides power to MCUs and optimizes energy consumption through a DC/DC pre-regulator and linear regulators and ultra-low-power saving modes. Featuring:Advanced functional safety measures to target ASIL B or D applicationsA serial peripheral interface (SPI) to allow control and diagnostics with the MCUIntegration of CAN FD and LIN physical interfaces compliant with the ISO 11898-2,-5, LIN 2.2, 2.1 /J2602-2 standards along with the latest automotive OEM standards for EMC and ESDA range of integrated safety features such as monitoring of critical analog parameters, a fail-safe state machine and an advanced watchdog reduce software complexity with dual-core lock-step MCUsHigh-temperature capability up to TA = 150 °C and TJ = 175 °C, compliant with AEC-Q100 Grade 0 automotive qualificationFeatures

- Linear voltage regulator dedicated to auxiliary functions, or to sensor supply (VCCA tracker or independent), 5.0 V or 3.3 V
- Linear voltage regulator dedicated to MCU A/D reference voltage or I/Os supply (VCCA), 5.0 V or 3.3 V
- 3.3 V keep alive memory supply available in low-power mode
- Long duration timer, counting up to 6 months with 1.0 s resolution
- Multiple wake-up sources in low-power mode: CAN, LIN, IOs, LDT
- Five configurable I/Os
